As a visual artist, my strength lies in both the formation of my thought processes and the manipulation of non-traditional painting materials. I have printed and drawn on Plexiglas and vinyl, and layered images with three-dimensional materials. The representation of my conviction is about the dehumanization of excessive materialism. I am not interested in reproducing the visible. Rather, I aim to make the invisible visible. While I seek to capture the viewer’s attention, my deeper goal is to inspire the viewer to consider the implications of the work. By my creative strategies, every element of a work takes on a metaphorical meaning.
I wanted to be an artist but could not join an art school till a later a stage
Art helped me understand myself and the psychology of art and teaching art better, but that was not my passion; my passion was to create stuff
The human condition and life and death is an important component in my work
We are here for a purpose, some things are meant to be there is no real end
