Robert’s personal work explores both personal and universal social issues and reform ranging form infertility to the ever-changing landscape. As photographer he often breaks the traditional boundaries of photography and uses his background to use photography along side sculpture, installation, performance, and other art mediums. He has shown nationally and internationally including at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, Ormandy Memorial Art Museum, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art and the International Video Art Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.
About the Artist As I have become an artist I have relinquished my title of being a photographer. This has lead me to make long term projects that concentrate on photography as the medium I feel in love with twenty-five years ago. For these projects I often use film and large format cameras, so that I can go back in time to spend hours on end in the darkroom and filling my spirits with the memories of photography’s glory days.
