Join us and new Artist in Residence Joanne Couch for a new series of FREE workshops! On the second Saturday of every month Joanne will be teaching folks new art skills here at the Loudoun House. The workshops are run on a drop-in basis from 12-5pm. Come join the fun!
September 13th : Learn leather working - Cuffs, bracelets, hat bands, necklaces, and earrings worked with studs, snaps and specialty paint for your authentic creative expression.
October 11th : Keeneland fall meets are upon us - Celebrate our "Horse Capital of the World" by drawing our famous jockeys and racehorses with specialty bourbon barrel charcoals. November 8th : Learn gold to leaf like a pro on a glass bottle vase, perfect for a Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving festive table. December 13th : Big glass Christmas ornament baubles - personalize with your own photo or art, plus natural materials, paint, and bows. January 10th : A new year and a new you! Learn how to sew and upcycle your own clothes with your own art with award winning local couture fashion designer Joanne Hope Skiles Couch.
