The Lexington Art League (LAL) is Lexington’s premiere visual art organization and a 501-(c)-3, not-for-profit visual art membership and service organization. LAL is committed to challenge, educate and engage through current visual art. Sponsorship indicates an important commitment on behalf of the sponsor to support the mission and vision of the Lexington Art League: LAL envisions visual art as the lens through which central Kentucky distinguishes itself as a progressive, inclusive and vibrant region.

Sponsorship Opportunites include, but are not limited to:

AFB Art Fair @ Woodland Park - Held every third weekend in August, this event features 200 Fine Art and Craft exhibitors from across the country. Located in Woodland Park, the Fair draws close to 50,000 patrons to Lexington's largest free outdoor event.

5/3 Fourth Friday - Lexington's After Hours Art Event. Held every fourth Friday of the month (excluding November/December), this event brings art, food and music together at the Loudoun House. Attendance averages around 350 for each event.

Exhibitions - LAL puts on 5 exhibitions annually at LAL @ Loudoun House LAL's flagship gallery, as well as exhibits at LAL @ DAC (Downtown Arts Center), LAL @ the Mayor's Office and the LAL Project Space.

Community Engagement- through your support of our community engagement initiatives you can help LAL to make art accessible to all members of our community and illuminate the role of visual art in everyday life.

Exhibition Awards- by supporting our awards category you will enable LAL to recognize our artists talents through awards of excellence that will provide them with additional recognition for their original works of art.

Sponsorship Collective- this enables groups of individuals to combine their resources to support programs or exhibitions that speak to their individual area of interest without taking on the financial cost of title sponsorship.

Partnership of any kind is valuable to us including, in-kind donations, volunteer opportunities as well as attendance to our events, all levels of support are welcome and appreciated. The Lexington Art League’s programs are made possible through the generous support of LexArts. The annual Campaign for the Arts has raised millions of dollars in support of the visual, literary and performing arts in Lexington. Through the success of the Campaign, LexArts supports The Lexington Art League with an allocation of $62,000 for general operating support. We thank the many individuals whose passion for the arts compelled them to give generously of their time and money. Together these donations helped LexArts raise more than $1 million for the arts community.

Special thanks to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and the Kentucky Arts Council for their continued partnership in ensuring a flourishing future for the arts in Lexington and central Kentucky. The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports the Lexington Art League with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
