The Lexington Art League envisions a world where art, artists and art-making are central to human inspiration, self-realization and meaning. Partnerships with people and institutions who understand the impact of art and artists on quality of life and prosperity sustain LAL's ability to deliver high quality programs. Supporting LAL with your time, money, or talents is an investment in:

Art -- LAL presents original, creative and accessible visual art programs, with a reputation for thought-provoking content that illuminates contemporary life. Each year, LAL brings relevant programming to the Lexington region through a variety of exhibitions, installations, events and artist-led experiences. LAL's historic Loudoun House features 5,000 square feet of gallery space and artist studios that bring contemporary art to life.

Artists -- LAL collaborates with more than 1,400 contemporary artists annually in diverse media from painting to print-making, sculpture to photography and more. LAL is committed to continuously increasing investment in local artists as well as bringing national and international talent to the Lexington region to encourage professional development and artistic growth among them all.

Art-Making -- More than 100,000 people encounter contemporary visual art through LAL each year. The award-winning American Founders Bank Woodland Art Fair, art sales, auctions, "pop-up" installations, exhibitions and events introduce people of all ages to high quality contemporary art. LAL's community engagement efforts bring art experiences to under-served children in north Lexington as well as diverse audiences of all ages throughout Lexington and beyond.
