Call for Consignment
The Loudoun Shop is now accepting new applications from local artists and makers!
Eligibility
- Current Lexington Art League Members. (Memberships may be obtained for $60 annually - prior to submission at http://www.lexingtonartleague.org/membership.html)
- Artists currently living and working in Central Kentucky with priority given to Lexington’s Northside neighborhood residents.
Participation
- Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and complete a submission form electronically (instructions below.)
- Consignments will be selected and assessed by Art League staff quarterly (every 3 months)
- Selected artists will be required to complete a W9 upon delivering items.
- Both parties will review and sign a detailed inventory list
- Artist must provide any special display if needed
- Artist will provide a photo and bio to display with their work
- All sales will be processed by the Lexington Art League for a 40% commission.
- Participants will receive quarterly checks for all sales
What will be considered?
- Original art, craft, and design pieces that visitors might purchase as gifts.
- Handmade functional items such as ceramics, jewelry, and knitwear
- Decorative artworks that are framed or otherwise ready for display (under 12”x12” preferred)
- Limited printed materials including books, zines, photographs, and postcards
- Items must be valued under $300 (Under $100 recommended)
Submissions
Only electronic submissions as .pdf, .docx. or .xlsx file types.
To Submit
- Email submission titled “Vendor Application” to monas.fas@gmail.com
- In the body of the email provide:
- Artist Name
- Address
- Description of your work and process
- Short bio and artist photo to display with your work
