Rent the Loudoun House for your special event.

LAL is headquartered in a castellated Gothic Revival villa on the grounds of Castlewood Park in Lexington.  The house was completed circa 1852; read more about the history here. LAL shows contemporary art in a variety of forms and mediums and offers its facilities for rent for special events and meeting.  Please review the costs, calendar and rental agreement below.

2012 Rental Costs

The Loudoun House can be rented for meetings, receptions, and parties at $200 per hour. Rental hours include set up and break down time. A refundable $250 deposit and half of the rental fee, which is not refundable, is required at the time of booking.

The gallery can be closed to the public when private events are booked. Contact us for details.

Rental Details

A $250 refundable security deposit and half the rental sum, which is non-refundable, will be required to reserve the date. The balance will be due the day of the event.

To receive the $250 security deposit following your event, the gallery must be returned in the condition it was received.

All event rentals must be through Purdon's Rental due to an existing exclusive agreement with LAL. All events with alcohol must have a licensed caterer.
