Becoming a member allows the Lexington Art League to continue keeping our galleries and events free to the public.​

The members, staff, and board at the Lexington Art League thank you for your consistent support and invite you to renew your supporting membership. In 2019, we introduced a new and aggressive exhibition scheme in support of our updated mission in order to "create opportunities for Lexington area artists and those who appreciate their work.” Additionally, we committed to all exhibitions at the Lexington Art League being free to the public at all times. We curate approximately 25 annual solo and group exhibitions along with alternating biennial exhibitions The Nude and the Members' Biennial, as well as host the annual PRHBTN group exhibition.

This exciting slate of programming cannot continue without your support and contributions. We offer a variety of membership and donation options for your convenience. For as little as $5/month, you can help support Lexington artists and events that bring the community together and allow creativity to flourish. Memberships can be purchased easily by following the link below, by phone at 859-254-7024, by mail, or in person at the Loudoun House, 209 Castlewood Drive, Lexington, KY, 40505.

Memberships

Basic Membership: minimum $5 monthly/$60 annual
  • 10% off all gallery and gift shop purchases
  • ​Invitation to member-exclusive events
  • Discount on selected Lexington Art League applications or booth fees
  • ​​Opportunity to attend exclusive artist critique and/or networking nights
  • Ability to submit for solo exhibition or to curate an exhibition
  • Guaranteed entrance into biennial Members Exhibition*

*artwork must not exceed size/weight limitations of exhibition space and must meet other standard criteria for exhibition with the Lexington Art League.

Our mission is to support artists in the Lexington area, and throughout Kentucky, through exhibition, education, and collaboration. We cannot do it without the kind support of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers. Every year we rely on YOUR generosity to keep our doors open and our exhibitions admission free! Artists in Lexington and Kentucky would not have the opportunity to show their work in the Historic Loudoun House galleries if we didn't have support from people like YOU. People who care about supporting the arts IN our community and supporting the arts FOR our community are our greatest resource. Thank you for your continued support!

Patron Level:  minimum of $300 annual

  • The opportunity to attend a guided tour of the house to learn its history.

Curator Level:  minimum of $500 annual
  • Basic Membership, with all included benefits.
  • The opportunity to attend a guided tour of the house to learn its history.
  • Parking pass (in artist/sponsor parking area) at Woodland Art Fair.

Gallerist Level:  minimum of $1,000 annual
  • Basic Membership, with all included benefits.
  • The opportunity to attend a guided tour of the house to learn its history.
  • Parking pass (in artist/sponsor parking area) at Woodland Art Fair.
  • Two hour rental of Loudoun House - can be combined with additional paid rental hours.​
Collector Level:  minimum of $2,500 annual
  • Basic Membership, with all included benefits.
  • The opportunity to attend a guided tour of the house to learn its history.
  • Parking pass (in artist/sponsor parking area) at Woodland Art Fair.
  • Three hour rental of Loudoun House - can be combined with additional paid rental.
  • Name inclusion on donors list in select marketing materials Name listed on annual donor plaque which is displayed on the first floor of the Loudon House

Benefactor Level:  minimum of $5,000 annual
  • Basic Membership, with all included benefits.
  • The opportunity to attend a guided tour of the house to learn its history.
  • Parking pass (in artist/sponsor parking area) at Woodland Art Fair.
  • Four hour rental of Loudoun House - can be combined with additional paid rental.
  • Name inclusion on donors list in select marketing materials Name listed on annual donor plaque which is displayed on the first floor of the Loudon House.
  • Invitation for two to a guided tour of a private collection or studio housed in Lexington/Central Kentucky, with a meal provided.
